Inside PurpleAccountsWe like to do things differently! Chartered Management Accountants PurpleAccounts is a family business dedicated to serving small and medium businesses. Delivering low fixed fees and exceptional customer service, PurpleAccounts has firmly rooted itself as market leader in providing accountancy services to small businesses in the Isle of Man. Based on Victoria Street in Douglas, we have already gained awards and local accolade as revolutionising the way accountancy services are provided in the Isle of Man. Founded by Husband and wife team David and Helen Parker in April 2007, PurpleAccounts started in the spare room working on a handful of accountancy clients, to whom the aim was to provide a simple service that would give small businesses exactly what they wanted... excellent personal service, easy to access and exceptional value for money. The basis of the service was to offer a low fixed monthly fee and make efficient use of technology by providing a secure online portal 24/7 for customers to be able to view their accounts online free of charge. It turned accountancy on its head, as no longer did businesses have to wait a whole year to see exactly how their business was performing, as accounts are updated in days. Not long after that, the move was made to ‘shop front’ premises on Victoria Street, Douglas, where the business continues to grow and further establish its reputation as a company dedicated to servicing the needs of small businesses. We have a fantastic small team of professionals, combining oodles of experience and genuine enthusiasm for our clients’ success. The introduction of the boutique style ‘Platinum Service’ has given PurpleAccounts further scope to utilise the teams’ skills and vast experience in management accountancy. The ultimate reward was receiving ‘the best of’ ‘Best New Business’ 2008 and also becoming finalists in the Isle of Man Newspapers ‘Awards for Excellence’2008 for excellence in innovation AND again in 2009 for excellence in customer service. A true achievement and testament to our teams dedication and commitment to the Island's small business community. We genuinely value all of our customer comments as to how we can further improve our services. Manifested by the fact we have acted upon several valid suggestions and continue to strive to exceed the very high standards we set ourselves.
